On November 25th, Physica is inviting Marcos Diniz Guimaraes to give a talk about excitons, light-matter interaction, and many-body states in quantum materials!
Have you ever wondered how to explore the fascinating phenomena of Quantum Mechanics in real systems? The answer lies in quantum materials! In the upcoming lecture, Marcos will focus on how the interaction of a specific class of these quantum materials, van der Waals crystals, and light leads to the formation of quasiparticles known as excitons. To find out what excitons actually are, how their properties can be controlled, how they interact with each other, and what makes them so special, join our borrellecture!
